“ The food was amazing! We went in based on the reviews we saw and was treated with amazing service right away! They really care for their customers and the food was exceptional! Definitely would stop by here ”
“ This place is under new owners, who are very nice people. The food is better than before!!! I'm from St. Louis so when we say rice is good it really is good . This is one of the few times I really put it all on the line and will say it's good....the rice was fried really good with a nice amount of chicken. Next was the pepper beef and onions which was also pretty good with beef perfectly cooked that's was too chewy at all! Next was the lo mein which was also pretty good too, the noodles weren't too oily and was very tender with plenty of chicken also. Next was the fried dumplings which also was tasty, the amount you get is more than enough if you crave dumplings!!!! Now on to the star of the meal.....drum roll....,the doughnut balls were amazing!!!! These were free with coupon off the menu, they were hot and delicious...I've never had them before. A must try! This place was clean and the food was made quickly with no problems with the order! ”
“ This is my second time going to this establishment. The food is delicious and they give you large amounts of food and the carryout is quite clean. I love it! ”
“ Amazing food. I had the Hunan Chicken. Hot, fresh, and just absolutely amazing. Great portion for a combo. I will eat here again. ”
“ Hate to downgrade the place, but the quality and quality has went down and the prices have went up (the latter is completely understandable). Singapore noodles use to be in a normal large size container - its now about half the size. For 20yrs the steamed dumplings were made the same exact way (and I think they've changed owners over this time period), but the last two times I ordered them they were made differently. The first was the smaller har gao type. The second time was a very pathetic pierogi shaped thing with the tiniest amount of meat. Please go back to your original version. I know prices had to go up, as you guys had a very affordable menu for many years, but some of the quantity/quality changes I think should be rethought... ”
“ This is my first time ordering food from this place, their menu is very extensive and it's hard sometimes to pick the right item. I normally like cantonese carry out than chinese carry out but today i felt like i need chinese food.. I honestly didn't like my food much it wasn't the best...the chicken wings were burnt(over fried) the right was ok, fries wasnt that great, the stir fry wasnt out of this world. I could have cooked better.. I give them stars for a clean place, good and prompt service. I will definitely try their food one more time and make final judgment.. ”
“ Long before I was a Yelper, I have came here and ate at he one table they have in the front counter area. I sometimes have ordered out. It has authentic flavors and the staff is always kind. I have a hard time choosing from all the dishes, but they are patient with me. Since they get takeout orders via phone and walk-ins, the orders can pile up fast. Around lunch time, one person can walk in with an order for am entire office! So watch where you want to land in the pecking order. They have cool coupons on the paper take out menus, so if you meet the requirements, use the coupons. I think you get a drink with some of the combos or if you buy a certain amount. There are diploma many types of bottled and canned drinks, soda, juices, green teas. I love their crab rangooons and fried dumplings, they go well with any entree. ”
“ Having patronized this location many times over the years, Golden Coast is a rather unassuming Chinese restaurant in a short shopping strip. While there's a single table and chairs, it's not meant to dine-in. Out standby in the sweet and sour chicken. The chicken pieces are plump and juicy while the breading is crunchy. One order could easily feed two. Spring rolls are also crunchy and amazing. Their egg drop soup is also quite delish. They'll throw in plenty of sauces, napkins, and utensils. You also might get some free food! My only complaint is not having an idea of what a new dish contains until after getting it. For example Hot and Spicy Chicken is a dish up my alley, however, it contains lots of onions and bell peppers. There's a decent amount of chicken but it's buried in a mess of veggies. Not worth getting again. Some of their other dishes are like that as well. For quick and convenient Chinese food, order here. Unfortunately with online ordering they are only on BeyondMenu. ”
